High Five For Friday

Happy October!  I know that fall officially starts in September, but to me October makes it legit.  This week has kind of been all over the place for us in the Midwest, from almost 90 on Monday to being in the 50's in the middle of the week.  Not surprising!

I thought I would do a little twist this Friday and share 5 recent confessions, enjoy!

1|  It is the time of year where these little candy pumpkins are my nemesis.  Because If I come across them, I will eat the whole bag.  It's dangerous and gross all at the same time, because I don't even know what they are made of, probably nothing that resembles real food, and yet down they go.  Candy corn also falls into the same category, but there is just something about those pumpkins!  2 bags have already disappeared in my house!

2|  On Monday morning I literally left the house a half an hour too early for my acupuncture appointment.  I blame it on the fact that it was scheduled way too early for a Monday morning (Monday = day off for me = sleeping in).  It  takes me about 45 minutes to get to acupuncture and I thought I had figured it out, and it wasn't until I was half way there I realized I had left way too early.  That meant I missed out on a half an hour of sleep.

3| I can no longer get through an evening at work without starting to yawn desperately 3/4 of the way through, I blame it on old age.  That works, right?!  It never used to be this way! Sleep is my best friend, but we don't get to spend nearly enough time together!

4|  Speaking of sleep, I can't remember the last time a weekend passed by that I didn't involuntarily fall asleep during it multiple times.  My newest one is riding in the car, but put me on the couch in front of the TV and you are just asking me to fall asleep, ask my husband, I'm really good at it!

5|  I know I may be a dance teacher, but this is so true of my everyday life.  All of it.  It feels like every time I'm trying to walk to the bathroom I never make it because I get called somewhere by one of my staff or students.  The other day I got home and realized I never made it to the bathroom all day, terrible!

Hope you enjoyed my recent confessions, here's to a great weekend!  Enjoy what ever you find on your plate!

  2. I'm a total candy-addict all year...I just LOVE sweets....but for some reason, I don't like those pumpkins OR candy corn. Weird, I know. And seriously, I'd give ANYTHING to go back to childhood and willingly and happily nap every.single.day!
